What You Need:
- 1 package shredded Cheddar cheese (8-10 oz)
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup flour (try wheat flour if you want to pretend this is a super healthy snack)
- 1 teaspoon salt
What You Do:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- In a big bowl, mix the cheese and butter.
- Pour and blend in the flour and salt.
- Divide the mixture into 6 rolled balls.
- Roll the balls into slender “snakes.”
- Cut each “snake” into 4 straws.
- Bake the straws for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
